I am searching how to develop spherical/curved patterns (mainly for additive manufacturing), there are plenty of tutorials on YouTube, but they are basically just recipes. Usually, the dimensions are pre-defined and not explained how and why they were chosen nor how to change those values for different shapes.
So, I am looking for some material to study this kind of stuff, to develop them from zero, but couldn’t find it on the internet.
Do you have any recommendations? Does not need to be in Solidworks, since is general design study.
