Text "Box" with an opaque background

Unread post by doobes »

Hey there,

I'm doing a document for printing with a bunch of concentric rings that I want to label with information for the user.

I'm creating a drawing and I want to have text in a text box over the rings blocking out a small segment of the ring.

I've looked around and the only thing I can find on the issue is this discussion on the old SolidWorks forum:

https://forum.solidworks.com/thread/28266

Unfortunately the response is empty, who knew?

Any ideas on ways to do this?

Thanks
chris

There is no option as I know of. So may be insert an image (white blank image with the required text) on the dimension. And then print.
