SW2024 can save files in lower version with history preserved. Some new feature may not convert though.
You can have 2023 or 2022 files generated from 2024.

Re: Replace feature with pattern and preserve mates?
No, the face id will change. Try one thing: Create a copy of this file and give name to the 2 faces (remember the names exactly for each face). Create a new assembly using this new plate and add cylindrical components using the concentric mate using the 2 holes. Go back to the part and instead of th...

I don't think you can. You can save the sort settings to the template, but you must manually apply the saved settings in new documents that use the template. See: https://help.solidworks.com/2024/English/SolidWorks/sldworks/t_save_bom_sort_setting.htm Yes that is correct once I rechecked. But it wa...

After doing the desired sort, save the BOM template. And then next time it should sort on sort, you can right click on the BOM and select sort > apply sort (check reply by @JSculley below)

Not able to replicate the first behavior on 2022 SP 5.0 but yes deleting the header row, I can see the same behavior ie. duplication of the column header row and other issue. So time to knock the VAR's door.
And you can not delete the header row as SW will add it again.

You need to update the cutlist in the model so that BOM/cutlist in the drawing is populated with required details. Re: Drawing slow, lot faster with parasolid imported data
Check the performance evaluation of the model and see which features are taking more time.
When you use imported body, all the history is gone and there are no features to rebuild. This makes the model/drawing faster.

There can not be a custom property specific to that instance but you can have configuration property. But this would mean that you need to have different config for each instance.
Further can you please explain why you need to an instance specific custom property. What is the use or this is helpful?

If I remove the codes to get the hatch information, the loop works OK.
And you should not need to select the face of the view but should be able to get the hatch information from the view. Check this example https://help.solidworks.com/2022/englis ... ple_vb.htm
